Ten days ago, Saturn turned retrograde. While this reversal seemed to increase reticence, his retracing agenda really is to cull, cultivate, refine, improve, enhance and upgrade prior to steeping forward. Of course, if one feels that all that has been done, it is likely that one will sit solitary for a spell, until deciding that another comprehensive check of projects in play fills the billing of the moment. While Saturn is the cosmic disciplinarian, he is not so much a reprimanding hall monitor. He quietly asks, “Did you read that while alert, objective and enthusiastic? Or did you perform your last minute checks while tweeting what happened to The Bachelor as the season finale rolled by?”
With Mars retrograde in Libra and defensiveness running at a higher pitched whine than normal, it is sometimes difficult to find a friendly place for the suggestions rendered by Saturn.
A week ago, Jupiter turned direct. One thing for certain, he brought the proverbial March roar with wind... at least in my neck of the woods. Makes a body wonder if it’s worth sweeping up yard debris with another wind storm due in the next day or so. Yeah, it’s worth it. You never know when the next Jupiterian opportunity might arise.
This recent turn about of Jupiter certainly surfaced the following:
Never put off to tomorrow what you can do today.
Any job worth doing is worth doing right.
When opportunity knocks, there’s no time to slip into the underworld for consultation.
Have all your goods good to go at any moment. If someone asks to see your latest copyrighted blueprint for the invention that will do x, y or z, have the relevant documents and materials in your hip pocket (or your phone) at all times.
Stay optimistic, self assured and vigilant.
It is true Mars is retrograding and can be a little less than fun sometimes. From his current position, he opposes a collection of black holes in late Aries. While the following blips are likely reminders, hopefully they are timely reminders.
Abandon models of mediocrity. Filter through your heroes for the real deal.
Emulate your own excellence and re-enforce it thrice daily at least.
Establish impeccable self-sufficiency in the spirit of creating greater relate-ability and negotiating skills. Know what you can offer, what you cannot, and how much ground can be given without losing a solid place to stand.
Establish daily physical and psychic workouts... better alone than in the accompaniment of another.
When getting feedback from others, seek out only those with experience in the relevant realm.
All the above is important in anticipation of the upcoming Jupiter to Uranus square (not until next month). In such a wildly expansive, “all bets are off,” “all options are on the table” era, cool heads and centered chakras are required. Those honing inner instincts now will play a better hand and be able to sniff out bluffs and select the best opportunities that lie ahead in the upcoming weeks.
